IDmap Institute had incorporated in Israel in 2008. Prime goal of the Institute is education and research activities on the Internet. Prior to the legal establishment, the Institute engaged in online research and education of students and increased its experience in developing advanced teaching and learning materials suitable for internet learning environment. Most of the activity is didactic and academic aimed for teachers and scholars of international programs focused on developing eLearning in teaching Security studies.

Audiences that the company focused on in development of courses and training programs are ages of high school, students of higher education, people with disabilities and the NGOs.

The Institute implements adjusted synchronous global teaching and which is usually runs in increments of 8 hours during the day. The company provides corporate site training technical support which is available 18 hours a day. The company has developed a range of engaging online courses for online instruction as well as in-depth online courses of Internet studies. The company is developing a learning environment in 3 languages: English, Hebrew and Russian of eLearning platforms.
One of the tasks of the Institute is to understand the framework of projects of advanced Web technologies in the Third World countries, lectures of the Institute provide online workshops and lessons to disadvantaged African communities, in order to transfer advanced technical knowledge to needy populations.
The researchers of the Institute worked on the development of advanced teaching methodologies combined with advanced didactic tools in order to adjust the frame of the online teaching to the needs of populations and their technical knowledge.

IDmap was established at 2008 by a group of researchers and lecturers who united to bring the most advanced knowledge to students and organizations. The aim of the IDmap Institute is to establish a bridge between traditional learning and eLearning which is is essentially the computer and network-enabled transfer of skills and knowledge.

Instructors

 Post-secondary and special forces training instructors usually hold doctoral degrees or military retired rankings in particular fields. Instructors of special seminars may only need master's degrees to teach. Educational requirements for online instructor positions may vary based on institutional guidelines and the subject being taught.

Currently there are no specific licensing requirements for online teachers or instructors; however, special programs teachers must adhere to state licensing requirements. License eligibility requirements include completing bachelor's degree programs as well as teacher training programs, which are sometimes called credential programs. Upon meeting these and other state-specific requirements, applicants must pass licensing tests administered by their state boards of education and IDmap' commission. Instructors are also required to pass education technology tests as part of the application process. To teach online legally across state borders, some online teachers and instructors may require additional licenses, depending on state guidelines.
