Description of the course: The course is designed to give students basic tools for independent search in libraries databases and on the Internet. It is essential for anyone who is involved in writing, editing and searching items for professional research. The objective of this course is to bring the participants orientation in the Cataloging systems, electronic records of the relevant scientific literature and acquiring control over the various ways of obtaining information for research. The course also evaluates Internet content, Web 2.0 creative content, copyright and plagiarism of the content and laws and regulations regarding Internet content.
